Safeguarding & Data Policy

• We do not publish child content without verified parent consent
• All highlight videos are reviewed before publication
• Parents record video-based consent before any clip is used
• No facial recognition or AI tracking is used
• Clubs are reminded that they must comply with local child safeguarding protocols

• Clubs manage their own profile information and choose whether to publish team details
• We do not directly verify coaching qualifications, DBS certificates, or safeguarding training status

However, Grassroots Academy FC provides every club and coach with a public profile system that includes:

• Coach-submitted credentials such as DBS certificates, FA coaching badges, and first aid qualifications
• Profile photos and background information
• A traffic-light confidence indicator reflecting the number and type of credentials uploaded
• A Verified badge for coaches who have uploaded at least one approved credential and are actively linked to a club

This system is designed to increase visibility and help parents make informed choices about trials and club involvement. Parents are still encouraged to confirm DBS clearance directly with the club.

• League names used on this platform are publicly listed
• Clubs self-declare the leagues they participate in
• We are not affiliated with the FA, any league, or governing body
• Logos, branding, or trademarks from official bodies are not used without permission
• All league data is used for categorisation and discovery only
